The Gay Comic Geek and Steve- 6 Years Together

I just entered into the Big Gay Kiss contest with Steve. I had to give it a shot, especially since I love posting kissing vids up. This time it's just me and Steve and not a bunch of movies that I've watched.

I loved Dragon Con!

Dragon Con wasn't the same as Comic Con, but still, it totally rocked! I can't wait to go again next year. Here's a couple of my pics. If you wanna see more, go to my website: www.gaycomicgeek.com and click on the flickr logo at the top.

Dragon Con 2009!!!

I'm on my way back from Dragon Con tomorrow morning, and so much has happened in this trip. Well, not a lot, just a lot to tell. I'll post a vid up tomorrow night or Wednesday to tell of my exploits. Definitely a lot different than San Diego Comic Con, but still a lot of fun! Here's a pic that was taken at a photoshoot with some fellow cosplayers. I'm Kid Flash in case you didn't know. I wanna give a thanks to Richard Zak for providing the pic and the photoshopping. You rock Richard!

Dragon Con!!

Anyone else heading to Dragon Con in Atlanta? I just arrived here today and I'm totally stoked about it! We registered too late and we didn't get to be in one of the host hotels for the Con, but we got a reasonable rate for one of the surrounding hotels and that turned out pretty well. Too bad cab rides totally suck because the minimum fare ride within a mile is $10 each way. But I can't walk through downtown in costume, that's just asking for someone to beat the snot out of me. Anyways, I'm excited, but I'm still doped up from the Dramamine that I took on the plane (yes, I get severe motion sickness and throw up everywhere).

Family Guy's Stewie Griffin, FINALLY came out as being Gay!

Yep, Seth Macfarlene revealed what most viewers already knew. Stewie Griffin is gay! What a surprise, right?
Photobucket
There's been so many hints and funny scenes that it's like, duh? Macfarlene revealed this in a recent article in Playboy magazine by saying:"We had an episode that went all the way to the script phase in which Stewie does come out. It had to do with the harassment he took from other kids at school. He ends up going back in time to prevent a passage in Leviticus from being written: ‘Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind. It is an abomination.’ But we decided it’s better to keep it vague, which makes more sense because he’s a 1-year-old. Ultimately, Stewie will be gay or a very unhappy repressed heterosexual. It also explains why he’s so hellbent on killing [his mother, Lois] and taking over the world: He has a lot of aggression, which comes from confusion and uncertainty about his orientation."

Sweet! Although, it's funny to leave his sexuality ambiguous, it's still cool to see a gay character in a cartoon. Too bad it's a baby.

Should I or Shouldn't I?

Hmm... I want to become a Youtube Partner. But before I can even apply I would have to delete about a dozen of my videos because most of my vids have images that don't belong to me. Plus I put in music that isn't royalty free either. In order to apply I would have to delete most of my vids and start to just upload vids that have no background pics at all. Even all that doesn't mean that I'd be accepted as a partner, but at least I'd be considered. What do you think? Should I do something like this? I can still upload vids with all the background images on my website, www.gaycomicgeek.com but I just can't do it on youtube. What do you guys think?

Back to Work on Monday

Ugh, it was nice having the past 2 weeks off, but alas, I must head back to reality and go and make money again. Which is a good thing too since I'm totally broke from spending so much money in San Diego and just vegging out at home for the past few days. I've also slacked and not gone to the gym for 2 weeks too. Let me tell you, it's been so nice to just lay in bed and watch old reruns on tv and catch up on comics. I haven't shaved in about a week, which is odd for my friends since they're always used to squeaky-clean shaven Paulie, but even something like this feels nice to just not care for a little while. Eating cookie dough with ice cream in bed is like the bestest thing in the world right now and I think the simplest things like this are under-appreciated and need to be done a lot more just to relax and see that not everything is complicated. I know tomorrow I'm going to face a huge set of problems at my office and I'm going to be faced with all kinds of challenges since my job relies on me a lot for support and decisions that need to be made. I only supervise around 10 employees, my department is pivotal for my entire organization, so I'll own up to it and get back to my professional side of life until my next vacation, which probably won't be until around December, but at least I have something to look forward to. I'm not depressed or anything like that, but I do have a feeling of dread heading back to my office, knowing that there's going to be a lot to handle on my first day back.

Ok, if any of you get a chance, go check out my buddy, Gus Brock's page. He's so cool, he's working on his own webcomic and he just drew a scientist that was loosely based on me. How cool is that? I have to get a couple pics and use them for some of my reviews as a pic that someone's drawn of me.

LOST!!!!!

Oh my fucking god, we gotta wait till next year to find out the rest of Lost! This was the best season finale ever! I can't believe we saw Jacob, and the statue. What's gonna happen? I'll have to do a vid on this one. I can't believe how psyched up I am right now, but bummed at the same time since we have to wait till next year to find out what happens next.

Star Trek Movie Review

Funny story. I bought the tickets for all of us, but unfortunately I bought them for the wrong day. Luckily we were able to get in and watch it anyway, so it worked out. But I'm not allowed to by the tickets anymore.

Someone Posted me on their blog! (And some car Problems)

Man, I hate my car. I really, really hate it. I was cursing it out the other day like it was a real person. I was yelling, 'you fucking piece of shit, I can't wait to take you to a scrap yard and smash your motherfucking ass! I won't even trade you in cause that would be too good for you!' See, I've had like 10 problems go wrong with it in the past year and it seems like it's almost every month I have a new problem with it and I end up spending $200-$400 fixing it. At this point it's like, how is this cheaper than getting a new car? But now I've fixed it so many times, I feel like I just threw all that money away. I keep hoping that every time I get it fixed that this will be the last time, for a while at least. Ok, I'll stop babbling.

Anyways, my buddy, Mr. Artastic Avenjer did a new pic over at his blog and redid a pic that was taken of me and my boyfriend Steve that was taken last year at Comic Con. I just thought I'd show this off for everyone to see. His site is: http://artasticavenjer.blogspot.com/

Why am I attracted to guys in costumes so much? Especially spandex costumes. Even more so for guys that are captured and their costumes are being ripped off. Is it the geeky superhero side of me that I can't help it? For instance, there's a site that I found called www.herointrouble.com and it's pretty cool. There's a bunch of other sites out there too, but this one really caught my eye. Here's a couple pics from the site for those that are interested but not enough to actually go to the site itself (the first is my favorite by far:

Star Trek Comic Book Prequel Review

Great to be Back!

Wow, I used to never want to be in front of a camera when I was younger. I was always the dude that recorded everyone else that actually had more photogenic appeal, and I was happy being the 'behind the scenes' guy. When Youtube took away my ability to put up vids, I really got hurt. I felt like it was a real blow cause I've begun to define myself as to what I do in my spare time. This was just a quick hobby to do in between work, but now it feels like something that I want to do more and more. Thank you so much for all of your support, and I hope that everyone who watches my vids and reads my blog, enjoy what you see. You guys are awesome and you're the reason why I keep doing what I do!

Banned from Youtube...again

This is a rare written blog. I've been banned from Youtube because my vids are inappropriate. Even though I censor my vids, they're still inappropriate. So, I'm frustrated right now. Hopefully I'll be back and I won't be banned forever. But, I know there's a lot of dicks on youtube that want all gay people to stop posting, so who knows right now. I'll see you soon!
